My best friend Myka was kind enough to let me crash at her place while I sorted out all the details before I moved to Boulder. She has two beautiful daughters who are always so fun to photograph.

The West is the Best Baby
March 15, 2008I had been back home in NJ for about 6 months before I got the itch to move west again. Something about the vastness of the west and shocking beauty of the mountains always made me feel like it was where I belonged.
Things back in Jersey were going great. I had actually landed a gig freelancing with the New York Times but something kept telling me my time was up back east. I didn’t take the opportunity with the NYT lightly but over the last 10 years I have always followed my gut instincts and in the long run things always seemed to have worked out.
So I picked myself up one more time and made the long journey west. My final destination- Boulder, CO. I don’t know anyone there, have only visited once many years ago but thought it was as good a place as any to try and plant some roots or continue to spread my wings.
