Angie & Jake had a big, beautiful Greek wedding- it was my first Greek Orthodox wedding and I love it. The ceremony was really spiritual and the reception was a wild and crazy party. We also cruised up to an awesome lookout point and took stunning portraits with the Garden of the Gods in the background. The newlyweds cruised up to Jake’s Greek restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs on scooters and continued to eat, drink and break plates into the wee hours of the morning.
Photographing night high school football is one of the more challenging events to shoot, throw in torrential rains and you’ve got one wicked and wet evening. I was shocked this woman and all of her children were braving the horrible weather- turns out she was the coaches wife. Talk about dedication!
Melinda & Kevin were married at the lovely Longmont Rose Garden surrounded by a small group of family and friends. They have been together for a very long time but both were determined to finish their degree’s before tying the knot. It was a beautiful ceremony and the roses were spectacular!
